I don't know what these people are talking about. KH2 is brilliant. Gameplay, story, music, graphics, voice work, everything! I liked it way more then KH1.

Sephy isn't hard at all. I have a seperate save file just for fighting him and I do it for fun. Sometimes I don't even attack him, I just guard and dodge all of his attacks.
