I bought the remake of Ruby and it was okay. It's hard for me to stay into pokemon because I only like the exploration and story part of the game. I couldn't care less about collecting or other things they add like contests.

Tonberry trick works faster. You should try it. The only long part of it is leveling everyone. xD
Though by that point in the game I've narrowed my party to three.
I know. I just find it incredible tidus <(seewhatIdidtherehaha) to do it. There is the tonberry method which levels unbelievebly fast but still takes hours to perform to get max.

Are the extra scenes worth it? Cause if it was me I'd just bank everything on a one hit KO from Yamato. xD
well some games you get Themes. but there are extra scenes that you get to see before and after the extra battles that are fun. Though omega is still the toughest boss in the game. not including the neo slug
The trophies don't do anything though so they are a worthless reward in my eyes. Now if it's some kind of secret video/scene, item I can use against other bosses, etc then it's worth the trouble.
Hmm...I've never had the urge to do things like that without reward so I can't say I understand.
