  • A few people I showed this to tried as well. God damn impossible.

By the way, gotten further into Vento Aureo. I've seen the first appearance of King Crimson. Kinda disappointing to see yet another villain with a time manipulation ability, but eh. I've heard Diavolo is a pretty cool villain though.
JoJo Posing is Impossible | One Pixel Jump

Thought you might get a kick out of the truth of Caesar's pose.
Besides E3 drowning out my hype right now, yeah. This is one of the first "fighters" I'll play where I like 9/10 of the cast. I'll probably go with both Josukes and a variety of subs.
    PS3「ジョジョの奇妙な冒険 オールスターバトル」第5弾PV - YouTube

Watch this and prepare to have an orgasm. This is probably one of the best PVs yet.

THE AMOUNT OF DETAIL THEY PUT JUUUUUST INTO DIAVOLO'S INTRO IS AMAZING, HOLY FUUUUCK.
Question: what is that thing (I'm assuming alien) from? Curious person is disruptfully curious.
Just lost my entire message. Dammit. The rundown since I don't feel like retyping it all:
Tusk is definitely up there for cool abilities. I wish Araki had played more on the concept of shooting yourself in the head to move through infinity. That was extremely cool.

Echos is amazing. I can't wait to hear his sailor mouth if the anime ever reaches Diamond is Unbreakable. Koichi is voiced by Romi Park according to All-Star Battle.

By humanoid I meant the stands look human, like Crazy Diamond and The Hand. Non-human looking would be like Tusk.
Tusk is hands down the ugliest stand in the series. All 4 acts e_e The one thing I can't complain about so far in Vento Aureo is that Araki is actually making all of the stands look humanoid, which are my favorite ones. And the stand names actually fit the stands instead of labeling them onto a random stand like he does sometimes.
Oh GAWD, I started showing my friend JoJo's by skipping ahead to the Part 2 anime. We ended at the fight with ACDC and he just shuddered like fucking crazy when he saw the nail part. That's still the grossest thing in the series to me.

I'm doubting the Pillar Men will return to be honest. If we look at the timeline Josuke holds out of the family tree of the Joestars, you can see Joseph far back on it. Something tells me we wouldn't see a new Pillar Men arc without Joseph. I'm seeing this as being less of a parallel and just using Morioh and some names as a reference. This seems far different from Part 4 or any other part than what we've seen so far.

And actually there's a PS1 game for Phantom Blood similar to the one for Vento Aureo. It kinda sucked. Plus the PS1/Dreamcast fighter, which I know you're aware of.
I just feel like Araki knew what he wanted as an ending and was like "Okay, I know what I have in mind, I'm almost done. Let's get this shit done." and then it sort of ended up heavily rushed. I mean, it gave some decent closure towards the end (and the throwback to being on the boat like Phantom Blood's ending was gloriously portrayed) but he should have slowed it down.

The nail thing freaked me out enough with Johnny. With Kira in this part it's just as bad. And I have to say, combining Kira and Jotaro for this universe is extremely interesting. It sucks that he's dead, I'd love to have seen the actual character get some screentime.

All-Star Battle is looking fabulous. There's a supposedly leaked roster that's been entire true so far, and it shows Part 5 having an enormous amount of characters. Like, twice that of Stardust Crusaders. Most in the game. Apparently Vento Aureo is really popular in Japan for some reason.

There's also apparently some character customization possible! It may just be alternate outfits, but apparently most sources are interpreting it as being something slightly more. I'm not a big fan of the Ninja Storm series given it only really presents itself as a good cinematic experience, but god damn, CyberConnect is really impressing me with this game.
I loved Steel Ball Run. Gyro was probably the best way of fleshing out a character at the start that people look at and say "He's the elite of this manga. The best and invincible" and then rip him down to just a man so we see him like a normal guy. The ending was a little bleh to me and bittersweet, but as a whole it was pretty awesome.

Stone Ocean does have a nice premise though. Excited to read it sometime. It's still a major goal of mine(given i'm a huge fan of what i've read) to finish every part of the series.

Speaking of JoJo, you hear the latest reveals for All-Star Battle? Buccellati, Diavolo, and Narancia. The trailer comes out June 9th, probably onto youtube and such the day after.
Nah, not yet. I'm waiting for Invincible Trio to finish translating Part 4 so I can finish it before starting Part 6. I don't really have a particular reason for doing so, but I'd like to finish reading every part that precedes Stone Ocean just because it's the last in that universe.

So after Vento Aureo is out I'm catching up on JoJolion, which may just turn out to be my favorite part overall, maybe even topping Diamond is Unbreakable(which is my current fave). I love this universe's Josuke, probably my favorite JoJo yet as well.
It's down there for me. I'm enjoying it more than Phantom Blood's manga, but I don't really count that. I like some of the characters, but as a whole there's a significant amount less of fights as far in as I am. The fights are just drawn out much further than they were before.

Giorno really isn't that interesting though. His stand ability is for sure, but not him. At all. He doesn't have any outstanding features to him like Josuke(Part 4) or Joseph. Infact, most of the characters I've seen so far hasn't. I only find myself really interested in Mysta, Buccellati, and Fugo. Everybody else is kinda off to the side.

This is also looking to be another part where the side characters fight more than the main character does. I see Buccellati turning into the Polnareff or Koichi of this part.
I decided to start reading Part 5 recently, it's been kinda decent, scans aren't too terrible from what I've gotten. But seriously. I just finished Purple Haze vs. Man in the Mirror. Purple Haze isn't necessarily broken, but it's so powerful it feels like Araki had to make it so Fugo has a hard time controlling it. Its ability is ridiculous.

    This is the new ED they're using for the rerun. Nostalgia drive man... ;-;
Luckily I believe that there's a team like Invincible Trio doing Part 5 better and more accurately than previous scans. I may check it out when that happens, but overall from what I've heard it wasn't too interesting of a part. Which is weird, given it's supposedly the most popular part in Japan.

I still want to read every part of the series, it's just of whenever groups get around to going back and fixing all of the terrible translations and scans from before. I don't want to read Stone Ocean(which I'm VERY eager to read) before finishing 4 and 5, even if 5 is sort of it's own story.

There's a rumored leak list for the new PS3 game and it shows Vento Aureo having the most characters, so I'm hoping it's fake in that regard.
Nah, I haven't started Part 5 yet. Only read 1-3, all but about the last 4-5 volumes of Diamond is Unbreakable, Steel Ball Run, and I'm a few chapters behind on Jojolion. I heard that scans and the majority of translations are good for 5, but apparently some of them kinda characterized some of the characters in it wrong?
Just finished up Steel Ball Run. Things got even weird for JoJo standards near the end. I enjoyed it overall, but the ending felt way too sudden.

    So many feels about Gyro.
So many amazing feels about that shocking panel with The World.
And seriously, I thought The World was OP when I read Part 3. Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap is probably the most broken stand I've found yet in the series, christ.
