I never really cared for either, I just wasn't fond of the movies past X2 so a reboot was fine by me. Plus Days of Future Past was done so well it's hard not to like. 8D

lol Be wary of the kh wikia. It's fan edited and most of the details of KH are in interviews so the wiki has been known to be wrong more than right from time to time.

The Mirage Arena is basically one big hub for mini games, boss fights and tournaments. The mini games can be accessed in the main menu and Disney Town but all the tournaments are in Mirage Arena.
It basically does the jobs of Pooh's story book (mini games) and Coliseum's tournaments but better.

It did have multiplayer yes however the 2.5 version won't.

TAV is an acronym for Terra, Ventus and Aqua. Personally I'd rather have Mirage Arena in KH3 instead of the coliseum. In BBS it done the coliseums job far better than the coliseum has since kh1.

The hp isn't much use in Critical mode honestly because nearly every attack takes most your hp. xD The abilities Once More and 2nd Chance will be your best friends.
Compared to kh1 kh2s colosseum is a joke I think, it's not really fun to me like kh1s matches was. As for Sephy himself he's fought in Hollow Bastion in kh2 but far easier to the kh1 by comparison.

hooooo LW is far worse than Sephy. In fact KH2 Sephy is easier than KH1 Sephy of which LW is worse than both. I'd say the only boss that rivals LW's difficulty is a few data battles and the MF of bbs.
Yes Critical mode is the fourth and highest difficulty. The original KH2FM was it's first appearance as well. Critical mode on KH2FM limits your max hp to 80 and mp to 100 but at the same time you start with a bit more AP and some useful abilities.
Critical actually makes KH2 a challenge more or less. xD
Also beware the Roxas battle. Roxas is OP.

Though I like the KH series I've never really be one to collect guides myself. When I was younger in them olden says before the internet they was mostly just a means to an end.

Well the aiming is a bit easier with lock on and the way his heart orb changes color depending on element. Though I usually just sit still and let him charge me so I know I won't miss. x'D

Oh ho I've played LW alright worse yet I foolishly played him on critical. Those....were the three most frustrating days of my life. TnT LW is a freaking beast. He once chased me down, on foot, while I was trying to glide away in final form glide and punched me. PUNCHED ME.

Sadly no but at this late in the stage I think we'll be fine. KH2FM has had guides online for ages so don't worry and as far as BBS goes you only need a list of a handful of commands/abilities. ;3

It may be were I've been at it so long but I don't find them annoying myself, at least not Ice Titan or Kurt Zisa. Phantom though is easily annoying. >_< He's easy enough to dodge but getting hits on him is a pain. His only real damaging attack, that smog one, can be avoided by flying around the clocktower as he's trying to use it thankfully.
Xemnas took a bot of tinkering for me. I was high in level, but not sure where, and then set Goofy's settings to mostly support and then took away all his attack abilities. By doing that it made it to were Goofy's only special move was MP gift which let me keep using Strike Raid to avoid being frozen. xD

It's not really to do with easy or hard I just dislike the gummi missions. Those sound like annoying missions. O-0
Speaking of beginner. Have you played the harder modes or beat secret bosses?
