True, the internet isn't the only life I have to live. So today, as crappy as it was outside we went to the flea market. Indoors was our only option because of the weather. I was in much doubt if I'd find anything of interest, but to my surprise I found many things appealing.

First place I saw was an antique store, not an average one either since it harbored katana's and various other weapons >:3 And at an amazingly good prices to, many replicas that would normally sell for over 300 were about 20 up to 70$! It's legit so the replicas actually function like the real thing (found the master sword :O). I didn't by anything from there but I took a good look around. I did find myself a nice bracelet and a cool belt buckle too. The belt buckle being the most interesting since the buckle itself was equipped with an interchangeable lighter! So far those are 2 of the 4 things I'm getting for my birthday.

Oh well that's quite alright, in fact I quite frankly have to agree.
I mostly say that since I've been here for such a short time, and I am the foil to a lot of the staffs personalities so to speak.

I'm surprised they picked me too, then again I guess having another Gavin wouldn't be bad now would it? :v Some have said I'm his shadow, being likable and everything.. But w/ e I'm an oddity in real life as well, so a bit of that is carried onto here as well. And yes I will definitely take some of the knowledge from the staff and use it to my advantage. Otherwise I won't get much out of the experience of being on the team if I don't ask for advice, help and what not. And of course, you have any suggestions I'll throw it by the rest of the staff and see what they think ;3

Also you bring up a good point, being on the team can be intimidating to some; which is understandable considering mods/staff have power. Not a lot of power but with the limited power we control other members seem to fear us, well some do. I sure will keep that in mind, and I suspect the reason for it is my sociability and high tolerance for ignoramuses.

Odd, everyone seemed to have liked him, but like you said being on the spot light can be tough. Along with his illness and lack of activity here I can't blame him either.

But it wasn't announced to the public so no need to worry, many missed it.

Btw, Gavin had to take leave due to his heath issues.
Actually quite a few staff members have retired recently.

Yes I have to agree on that, I've only been here for a short amount of time, but I guess the staff liked the idea *shrugs*

And thank you, a few words of confidence isn't bad once in a while. At first I was a bit nervous about this, honestly I don't deserve the honor of being on the staff. But since I am now I, no, the new moderators have to do the best we can to keep order.

I can also say the same, some most of the members here are a disgrace not mentioning names >.>

You just get the overall impression that German schools (or the students) don't really care about their job that much. The amounts of canceled lessons in some schools in Berlin for example are so high, that some classes don't have any maths lessons for an entire year. Of course, things like these also often effect the student's way of thinking about school.

I don't know, schools in other countries really seem a lot more "serious". It's not that there aren't any good ones at all over here, it's just the overall impression that stinks.

Pretty stupid example, but I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say.
