    Oh really? Well, that's kinda unfortunate, but considering how goddamn amazing the animation is there, I don't mind it too much.

    Yeah, most of my friends from high school have this week off too. I have three days off in the middle of the week, so I could possibly try to do something with some of them, but that depends on how much work I need to do.

    Well, the characters design in Maikaze's OVA were much softer and cuter than this new one, but the Reimu/Patchy fight in it was probably the highlight of the production, despite Patchy's Royal Flare being incredibly nerfed.

    Yeah, I think I read something about that too. Part of me would like it if they did their own storyline though.

    I mostly wonder what kind of plot they are going to have for this. It almost looks like it may end up being some king of slice of life fan service kind of thing, but the stormy scene with Yukari and Reimu (which I read is actually Yukari creating the Great Gensokyo Barrier) gives me some hope that there may actually be some pretty decent action.

    Oh wow. I'm not sure what impresses me more; the surprisingly good level of animation or the fact that they are including, and potentially giving fairly prominent roles to, Maribel and Renko. The animation is impressive though; it actually kinda reminds me of Higurashi.

    I still want to see Maikaze finish their OVA series. I loved how they handled everything in the first one; the animation in that one had a bit of a Miyazaki vibe too.

    Is it the second Maikaze OVA? I haven't seen anything for it. I haven't been to DoujinStyle in ages, so I'm far behind on Touhou and doujin news in general.

    Yeah, I don't even remember what issue it was I had with her; it's been too long. I should replay them sometime soonish.

    I'm lucky to make it past Patchy on Normal. In the rare case I do, the next stage kills me swiftly.
