Indeed. It loses it's effectiveness when you start spamming it throughout the entire movie. Then you just get desensitized (if you were affected at all in the first place)

Too bad those movies are popular <_< Don't like that either. I also don't like movies that are overly gory. Blood 'n guts isn't scary to me, it's just cheap.
