I've put the whole traitor storyline in the back until it's brought up again in the future. Odds are somebody somewhere has already guessed what Nomura is going to do with the traitor thing similar to the 'Who is the Guardian' theory. Since the Foretellers are in current time we'll probably learn who the real traitor was/is in KH4, if we learn it before the game I'll be surprised.
As much as I want it to be Gula (because I hate him) most clues point back to Ava, Luxu, and the master himself as the top culprits. Ava's actions are still being shown in Union X, and she didn't return with the others. Luxu I think is a red herring, he knows who the traitor is but is just letting it play out. I personally don't think it's him...at least not the traitor the group was warned about. And then there is the Master of Master's himself. Like Sign said, we can't tell if he's good or evil. He's just a charismatic douche right now. He is the Cheshire Cat in a black coat, hard to tell what he wants and seems to play both angles in some form or another.
Kingdom Hearts is so unpredictable I don't doubt when we learn who the traitor is it turns out to be Invi's snake mask.
