"the game looks half-assed!" he says as he stares at a game that gives you:
- an entire universe literally remade in a new engine
- keyblade transformations making their full combat debut, being expanded on tremendously since their debut in KHIIFM
- the attraction flow system, a kooky system that literally incorporates DISNEY THEME PARK RIDES into combat
- multiple new ways to use magic in combat, including a new spell in water
- no more switching out of party members, with multiple extra party members confirmed in many worlds
- the inclusion of Pixar worlds, something that's been attempted since KH
- the marriage of DDD's flowmotion with the magic of the OG console game's combat
- situation commands, a new replacement for reaction commands that can be somewhat controlled and selected that also introduces the infamous -za level spells into the franchise
- the ability to equip three keyblades at a time and not only switch them mid-combat but also save their current forms and switch freely between multiple drive forms at once
- possibly the most optimized gummi ship experience we've seen yet that was developed by people who have actually worked on arcade shooters
-characters like Kairi finally participating for once in this series, with characters like Roxas and Xion finally making a return of sorts
- the conclusion of many, many character arcs in a single game
And, finally,
They had the sh*tting nerve, the b*stards, to NOT ONLY tell us they would be developing ANOTHER VERSION OF OLYMPUS COLISEUM, but that they would expand it WAY more than it has ever been expanded, making the one cool version of Olympus that showed up in II look like a set of alphabet blocks that babies play with. And, not only that, but it's ACTUALLY GOING TO BE AWESOME (most likely, don't like to put labels on things just in case)
But yeah, Osaka team was really lazy this time. Nomura should be FIRED for SLACKING so hard. Jeez, what does it take to please people these days?
