Presented by Endless Warrior Sora, Rhapsody, and You
The Story
You are a just a typical, (and very unfortunate) teenager who finds themselves awakening in a large city. Almost immediately you notice something odd. Something is wrong with your memory. You either can't remember anything, or your memory is all messed up. Nothing is for certain except for your name and the fact that your memories are gone. On top of that, there are these weird creatures called The Static that attack you at every turn and mess with your memories too. Not to mention these ultra powerful guys who cal themselves the Collectors hunting you and your new friends down. Now you have to race across the city, purifying each district of Static, evading the Collectors, and gaining your memories back.
The Other Story
It's about that time again. They've finally arrived. As a Collector, it's your job to hunt down anyone unlucky enough to be called a Fragmented and take their memories; which you will then deliver to your master who is a mystery even to you. You have the ability to take memories, and even show the Fragmented glimpses of their own missing memoirs to taunt them. Your path is mysterious, your reasons are unknown to them, but you know why you're here. You used to be one of them. A Fragmented. You are the strong and few that survived your Game. At the end of each session each Fragmented is given a choice: Leave with all of your memories intact, or discard your old self and be granted Eternal Life.

ENIX CITY
Welcome to Enix City, the bustling metropolis. Enix City is urbanized, and consists of 12 Districts which make for a more than big enough playground. It is the goal of the Fragmented to purify each district of Static by reaching their Game Memory before the Collectors turn you into one. You will start at the 1st District, and from there, nobody knows but one. Each District has several interest location with one "Landmark" that is the hallmark of that district.

The Negative District - Collector's Paradise
Theme: 6.24 -Danger
The Collectors Paradise is a small lounge located in the Negative District, a plane that exists beyond Enix City. Collector's Paradise consists of an entrance in the shape of a doorway of static. Beyond that is a dimly lit room about the size of a small restaurant with hues of purple and red piercing through the darkness. Television screens of all kinds and from every era litter the lounge, only playing the soft, consistent sounds of static. Old school arcade games can be found on the left most wall, such as pinball and Tetris. On the right side is a minibar, complete with a minifridge where all food and drinks are kept. Next to the minibar is an area that's supposed to be a kitchen, consisting of a large stove with two pans and a spatula for cooking. Underneath the stove is an oven for baking. Two large couches fill the first half of the room, staring at the entrance and snaking into an "L" just before the arcade wall. A pool table can be seen at the end of the room. Books and magazines fill a table in the middle of the couches. It's as if a father who didn't know how to be a father tried to provide a "hang out" spot for his kids. The Collector's Paradise exists as a place for the Collectors to relax, plan, strategize, socialize, and thrive while in between games or during their own respites.
District Zero - Inverse Parking Lot
Theme: The Fragmenting - Jessica Curry
The Inverse Parking Lot is the first place the Fragmented show up in, and directly while also indirectly connected to the Negative District. It's appearance is almost self explanatory, an empty parking lot with all of the colors reversed. The street is white and the street paintings are black. Every fragmented awakes in one of the spots in the parking lot, branded with their name at their feet to remind them who they are. All they remember is the last thing that happened before they woke up here and the basic information about themselves. A large, black gate can be seen about a yard away, leading to the first district.
District One - Enix Hotel
Theme: In My Head - AlunaGeorge
Theme 2: 3/31 - Shoji Meguro
Encounter/Battle: Purest One - Etro Anime
Boss Battle: Automatic(Vindata Remix)- AlunaGeorge x ZHU
The Enix Hotel is the pinnacle of the first district. Boasting 50 floors of space for tourists and travellers alike, it generates most of the first districts revenue. While toursist attractions and restaurants abound by it, no one can miss the famed Enix Hotel towering over the first district, with the giant Enix Hotel logo atop. It is the second tallest building in the city, aside from the Talkio Towers at the Scramble. Inside the hotel is the fanciest decor one could ever dream of, and the music is mostly laidback and relaxed.
District Two - Enix Pier and Arcade
The Enix Pier is located along the coast of Enix City, just south of the Enix Hotel. Nothing but ocean spreads south of here. The pier stretches over at least a block of ocean, where tourists and locals can fish, watch the sunset, or eat seafood. There are many restaurants living on the pier, mostly seafood inspired. One of the biggest attractions here, especially for the younger crowd is the Breaking Bonds Arcade, located near the entrance of the pier. A two room spread of video games as far as the eye can see, and on Fridays and Saturdays, games are free!

"Who am I?"
The Fragmented
You have been stripped of your right to remember anything straight. However, you guys are the Yang to the Collector’s Ying, get it? The Collectors collectively grow stronger as they aquire more memories from you guys, but once one of you Collects a memory ALL of you gain a memory as well. There are different types of you guys, just to mess around with your heads.
Blanks- You are the people who have awoken and just remembered nothing but your name and age. Basic stuff right?
Jiggsaws - You have all your memories...well most of them anyway. But they are all out of order. You remember things before and after another and it's all out of whack. Can you piece it together?
Headphones - So if you can't see things...hearing them is just as good right? I mean you can't tell which is which, or whose voice is who, or see the exit or the way to leave...but...at least you can hear things? Right?
LQ's or Pixels - Well you have them...you think. You really can't make out the pictures. You can see them, but everything is so fuzzy, and maybe even pixelated, you can barely make out what it is. Like someone tried to censor out your memories...not cool.
Fingerprints - You know how when you have a fingerprint on a CD and it makes the disk skip, or replay, or even repeat? Now imagine that, but way more frustrating and intense, on your memories. Yea, you can remember some things, but when you do, they'll freeze at the best part, or even skip the best parts to other more boring parts or even skip backwards! It can also replay something you've already seen.
Jack in the Boxes - Well it's like an actually Jack in the box, you’re going and going and going and BAM! It hits you! Same thing here. They come at the worst moments, at the worst times. You could be fighting off some Static, then memories hit you. In front of a car, same thing.
The Collectors
Well, that wasn't always their name. They were formerly known as Harbringers, but teens started calling them Collectors, just because of what they do. They travel along the city, bringing the Static with them and take back any memories the Fragmented have gained back or prevent the Fragmented from doing the same to them. Or at least they try to. It is very rare that they fail. They then deliver the memories to their leader who is unknown even to them and who also gives them limited information regarding as to why exactly they are doing this. This might lead to suspicion within this faction, but it is rare when someone actually asks why, especially when you are bestowed with immortality in exchange for ensuring some kids don’t get their memories back. They only know that for some reason, while this is going on, no one else in the city can see them except those involved, and their leader goes by REM. They are the incentive to get Fragmented to participate as opposed to sitting around and allowing everyone else to collect memories for them. By collecting memories, they get stronger. They all usually work as a whole and get more powerful as a whole. Meaning if one person loses thier memory, all of them get stronger. The Collectors were all at some point a Fragmented, who won their Game, and have survived every other Game up to this point. Their Stickers should've evolved into Tattoos for the most part, resulting in powerful abilities. The Collectors can summon Static at will and can turn memories into physical objects, absorbed upon touch. Though taking memories from them is a whole other story. Taking memories is a process…with rules. When you see these guys…it’s best you run. Very fast.
Collectors also have a dedicated heirarchy which can be denominated as follows:
EL337 [Elite]- The top brass Collectors
5H3/2P@ [Sherpa] - A designated Collector assigned to one District or Phase of the game. They control and reign over this area
Static
These are little annoying things arent they? Ranging from small fries to humongous creatures, the Static are a force to be reckoned with. Well some at least, others are nuisances. In a nutshell: they interfere with memories. And as all Static do when you are trying to get a clear picture, it interferes, making things unhearable, unclear and un-everything. The biggest mystery is what exactly these creatures are, some say they are experiments from the Collectors, whilst others say they are Fragmented who never got their memories back. While some are small usually in the Districts there is one VERY LARGE one that has something special about it. These are rumored to be past Collectors who were felled by Fragmented and usually contain a memory, signaled by something glowing on it. It would be best to take out these things. You can always tell they're near. Just listen for the Static.
"What do I do?"
Abilities and Fighting
You didn't really think you were helpless did you? Somehow in this strangely unfamiliar town, you can do things...you never imagined you could do before. Or after. Or period. Depending on your preference and predetermined memories, you are bestowed with a simple sticker matching your personality type when you enter the town, put the sticker anywhere and it will sink into your skin. Whenever you touch that point and focus and your weapon or ability is summoned to you, in its lowest form of course. (So for example, if your weapon is oh I dunno let’s go ahead and do something crazy like give you a sword, its going to start off as possibly a dagger or small sword and evolve into something greater.) Along with that you are able to collect and utilize other stickers as you collect memories to help you fight and battle. For the Collectors however, they pretty much have everything down, their stickers are permanent tattoos that display their heightened abilities, the more tattoos, the more times The Fragmented know that they have won these little…treasure hunts.
Each Fragmented will start off with one sticker. This sticker, when applied, will reflect your personality based on your memories, and grant you your imagination's desire of protecting yourself. Upon reaching the first goal, you will find two more blank stickers. Stickers are, like most things here, a mystery. However, they take form by presenting the wielder with incredible abilities and skills used for combat. Additional stickers will be aquired as the game progresses at certain points. This can take the form of a store, a present, or even hidden in a memory. Stickers work like exercise. The more you use your sticker, the more fatigued it will make you, however, the more powerful it can grow. Like a muscle. If you overexert yourself, it can damage your body much like how overworking yourself during exercise can cause you to throw up or pass out. You wouldn't start off with four dumbells at the gym, likewise, a Fragmented equipping all three starting stickers would put a huge strain on them. All stickers can be removed under certain conditions. If your memories are taken from a Collector, your stickers can be forcibly removed. This causes a pain similar to a very sticky Band Aid being torn from your skin and mind. Stickers can also be stolen and equipped by another person.
Tattoos
Once one has mastered their sticker, he designs sink in and become permanent, forming a tattoo. A tattoo is the highest power output of a sticker and represents it's highest potential. Rarely causing fatigue, Tattoo wielders most often come in the form of Collectors who have mastered their abilities over years of playing the Game. Tattoos cannot be removed, but they can be hidden (if one doesn't like the look of having them.). The only way to gain someone else's Tattoo ability is to have access to that person's memories. For example, if a Collector is felled in battle, and becomes a Memory, a Fragmented can access that memory, and has access to an ability the Collector once possessed. Similar to Megaman. However, the Fragmented may only steal a Tattoo ability relative to Blank Stickers they have. If they have 2 Blank stickers out of 4 potential abilities, they may only pick 2 of the Collectors abilities. This is a double edged sword, as well. Although gaining access to a Collector ability is an advantage, it automatically progresses to Tattoo, which can cause tremendous strain on a body that isn't prepared for it. (Think Izuku gaining All Might's ability from My Hero Acadameia.)

Stickers and Tattoos are categorized as so:
[*=center]Weapon Basic [WB] - Any type of sticker that produces a weapon meant for attacking and defense. (ex. Swords, knives, guns.)
[*=center]Weapon Unique [WU] - Any type of sticker that defies conventional weapons but is still considered a weapon. (ex. Sword cloaked in fire, metallic ball that can shapeshift.)
[*=center]Ability Basic [AB] - Any type of sticker that produces an ability that doesn't require a weapon or being physically held. (ex. Fireballs, lightning, healing, gravity, flight, teleportation)
[*=center]Ability Unique [AU] - Any type of sticker that falls out of the category of "Basic". (ex. Fireballs that turn into firewolves that protect the master, probably anything Dar or Tav come up with, Anna's aura seeing ability etc etc)
[*=center]Miscellaneous [MC] - Any ability that doesnt fall into any category. (ex. Neku's soda summoning healing pin. or summoning speakers)
Communication
As this is an urbanized city we are all about progress and the future! Everyone should have a cell phone. This is going to be the way R.3.M. communicates with both Fragmented and Collector alike. Fragmented, feel free to text or call each other if separated. Want to silently plan? Texting is the way to go. Collectors, do the same. Keep an eye out on those phones (inboxes) for messages and updates. Phone Brands are as follows:

[*=center]Talkio Universe 2.5: A dangerous competitor to the Pear uPhone, the Talkio boasts a touchscreen, voice to text, 14 megapixel camera and 151gb of space. Talkio Towers at the Scramble is dedicated to the advertisement of this brand. Comes in Green, Yellow, Red, Blue, Black, Silver, Pink, Orange, and Purple Mountain Majesty[Talkio Towers exclusive color] (More durable than the Pear! Battery lasts longer!)
[*=center]BLDE 7: Probably one of those "pay for minutes" phones you'll see at 11-7 convenience stores, this phone is the classic flip phone. With two touch screens on the front and back (but to text you still have to use buttons?! What's up with that??), this phone is accessible whether closed or open! 50 gb memory card, 6 megapixel camera this phone is simple, quick, and reliable. Comes in Black and Magenta.
[*=center]Nooky Prime: You hardly ever see this phone around. However, it is reliable and gets the job done. 12 gb of memory, t9 predictive texting options as well as button texting to anyone at anytime! Games included are the classic "Starship Fighter", "Tetris" and a free demo of "Snake" (one round, cant save score)! If you want something practical and affordable the Nooky Prime is your best friend! (Oddly enough, these things are infamous for being practically indestructible and can go up to a month without needing to be charged.) Comes in Black and Dark Black.
Memories
[*=center]As the intention is to take or re-take memories, when the memories are taken from a Fragmented by a Collector, they are sent into a comatose like state, and at the end of the game, they are effectively turned into Static and wander the district they were defeated in. The only way to bring that Fragmented back to conciousness is if they find and retake the memory from the Collector who took it. Once it is back in the possesion of a Fragmented, as per the ability of Fragmented, they are able to absorb the memory, thus resuscitating their fallen comrade.
[*=center]It is also entirely possible to kill an opponent if one so desires. If an opponent is killed as opposed to being defeated, the slain will BECOME a memory.(Which in a way, is kind of like death) The body will whither away, thus regaining the memory will do nothing for the person who was killed. The memory usually evaporates within seconds of it's appearance, however it can be touched to experience the memories of the fallen before fading away, most likely to REM. Experiencing memories other than your own is a very dangerous, painful, and possibly scarring process, due to it being an unnatural occurance and the fact that whoever's memories you have experienced will become part of your memories now.
[*=center]Memories in this world take the shape of a polygonal, crystalline substance about the size of a tennis ball, with the rapid playing of the experiences of a person going on inside the transparent crystal. Collectors have been imbued with the power to take the raw experiences themselves, almost as if they can bend time, and give them form in the shape of the crystal the memories are in. Thus due to their connection with memories, they are able to willingly control and manipulate the Static to their will. Fragmented are essentially the opposite being able to release memories from their crystalline state and experience them.
Memories take four forms:
[*=center]Game Memories: These are the memories that are essentially the ones that the Fragmented are after. These memories are blank in appearance, but one gained, it regains a memory for all the Fragmented.
[*=center]Last Memories: These are the memories the Fragmented start off with. It is their last remembered memory before arriving. This is the memory a Collector will take if you don't make it past the first round.
[*=center]Genuine Memories: These memories are the singular memories of a person. These are the memories crafted when a Collector takes memories.
[*=center]Life Memories: These are the memories that are crafted when someone dies and are the most powerful memories. These are memories in their purest state, consisting of the entire life force of someone's existence and all of their experiences. The most powerful form of memories.
Got it Memorized?
This is Enix City. The Fragmented live in Enix City, they have lived here their entire lives. They just don’t remember that they used to. The Collectors live here as well as their leader. Everything takes place here. However, here memories are power. Memories are everything. Because who are you without your memories? You must craft a whole new personality without anything to base it off of. Will you like what you find you used to be as you gather pieces of your memories? Do you even know why you are doing this? Why can you do physically impossible things and no one can even see you do it? If you work for REM, why? Do you just like eternal life? What about the you you were before? Do you like serving someone you don't even know? Causing the suffering of other people? And who or what exactly is REM?
In conclusion: Here, memories are power.
Don't Forget This
1. No Powerplay [Unless given permission]
2. No powerkill. [Again PERMISSION.]
3. Romance is allowed, just keep it PG-13 please.
4. Be as literate, clear and concise as you can. Don't text type this. Also, let's try to make posts that will keep the story going yeah?
5. And this is the BIG ONE. I decided to reboot this because you guys showed interest in doing this again. Please try to post at least, at LEAST once a week. I will try to do the same. I know we all have things going on, but me typing out this entire first post means I'm willing to make the commitment to this RP if you guys are. Stick with it, and I promise it'll be fun.
6. Be creative. It's okay to present ideas to me. I'll have to approve of course, but I'm always down to hear ideas and work off of them.
7. As stated, please start off with a maximum of two characters. It's so you dont have to keep up with multiple people. If you wish to add more characters you will have to petition them, and I must approve. Just please keep up with them.
8. If you are going to be a FRAGMENTED, please type your BIO out separately and PM that bio to me. Break it up chronologically by number, especially if you have a specific backstory in mind. If you do not, I will give you one. This is for the process of Memories, and depending on your type of fragmented, in which order you will gain them. For your BIO, you will only put out the last thing your character remembers before waking up. [Also put I can't seem to remember...]
9. If you are going to be a COLLECTOR, your BIO should consist of your history after you threw away your past self in exchange for eternal life. For the sake of story, if you still want to delve into that past self, PM me that BIO.
10. This used to be the rule where I asked if you wanted to be REM, but I'm gonna be REM this time around. Keep an eye on your inboxes. [Also put Here, let me jog your memory!"]
11. Most of all, MOST of all, HAVE FUN.
12. The District section is still a bit under construction. There are only SIX game memories and TEN districts. If possible, it'd be cool if we hit every district, but I also don't want to drag out the RP.
