358/2 Days Official Site Opens

Following a reaffirmation of a 2008 release date, the official website for the Nintendo DS title, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, opened today.

A wallpaper of Roxas is available under the Download section, as well as a story summary, and character profiles on Axel and Roxas. The information have been translated below. The background music is a custom mix of the title 'The Other Promise'.You can download the website version here. Check it out for yourself!

After visiting the site a few times, you'll notice the Organization member on the left side changes randomly. CHARACTER PROFILES
	ROXAS The nobody born from Sora. He is a new member to join Organization XIII whose role is to carry out the assigned missions. Number 13.
	AXEL He is in charge of educating the new Organization member, Roxas. He lacks a heart, but during the times he's with Roxas, he looks happy.

STORY

Twilight Town

As usual, Roxas and Axel stare from the clock tower at the evening sun. After they've finished their tasks, the two meet on top the clock tower, share ice cream, and talk together about the matters of their day.

"You know why the setting sun is red? Light contains lots of colors, but red has the longest wave length and reaches the farthest."

"What are you so proud about, Axel?"

They without hearts have repeated conversations that lack compassion. They spend everyday like this, little by little these members of the Organization begin to form a friendship since that day.

Newly entering the Organization is "the 14th" nobody. In Kingdom Hearts II, "the 14th" did not appear, neither did the story of Roxas' time in Organization XIII.

It is told at last.

We'll keep you updated as more information appears on the site! An interesting note, the bottom unavailable link on the side menu is covered in a mysterious chain and lock. What mystery does it hold?

Is it possible that it could have something to do with Gameplay videos, or Screen Shots, that or something eles, I dunno, I'm shooting in the Dark here.

hi peeps it's my birthday and i am lucky that the new site opened on my birthday. well anyways that mystery feature what could it be?
it's probably some special features about the game or a secret to the game.(when it comes out of corse.) i already put the wallpaper on tee hee! i do tend to wonder who is the fourteenth member? i have heard news that the member is a girl. and i'm not sure if this is true or not but my friend thinks it's aqua on a secret mission. creepy...

hello as if ppl, ppl keep on putting stuff on youtube saying that i eat children. i mean seriously me xigbar does not eat children. by the way very exiting news, this kind of news hadn't shown up in a while now. hope the game comes out soon this year, i'm really looking forward to controlling myself (xigbar)in a game.

Wasn't it supposed to be released during summer 2008 in Japan? I'm quite certain there's an interview that confirms this.
Now it's only a 2008 release date? That could mean even a december release in Japan. If it's Q4 2008 in japan, we can expect it during Q2 2009 in english and that sucks. I'm still pretty sure the game was announced for the summer, though.

First of all, I wish to confirm Axel's statement. Yes, red has the longest wavelength. He is correct in this. As to number XIV, what can I say? She didn't last very long in our organization. It is dissappointing. I expect my portrayal to be in character with my abilities intact. Xigbar, anyone with half a brain knows you do not participate in cannibalism, especially the consumption of human infants. Marluxia, I highly doubt that those who read this are marshmallows shaped into animals and covered with colored sugar. One as graceful as yourself has little chance of being shown to be foolish except in your attempted coup de etat and your misplaced trust in the one who did us both in.
