Finally another new world becomes a part of Kingdom Hearts 2; Port Royal! The events that take place in this world roughly follow the events from the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean", which was a huge success worldwide. Of course, there is the Kingdom Hearts twist to the storyline. Once you arrive in the world, you will meet Jack, who tells you that he's trying to get back his vessel, the Black Pearl, and rescue Elizabeth Swann who was kidnapped by the orders of Captain Barbossa.

Sora and the gang will be able to travel with Jack and on the way, face Pirates and take them down by using co-op moves with Jack. Later, you will encounter Barbossa, who tells Sora to pass over Elizabeth's medallion, which eventually leads to a fight between Jack and Barbossa. Even though Barbossa doesn't let Elizabeth go free, we some how later see her in the hands of Will Turner!

In this world, you will also face off against Order member, Luxord.
