familiar scene

If the graphics were of FMVs then I think this pic was in KH1 in the very beginning. The movie before you even play the game. Sora was gliding down on water when suddenly he sees his surroundings changed back to destiny island and sees riku. It was a very fast scene that you could almost not notice it. But then again, maybe not...

in the preview at this part he appears to be walking in slow motion...I think Kairi's having a bad dream about him so she goes after him, hence the words "This time I'll fight" just a guess..

Looks like...

To me, it looks like he's about to awaken from either a trance or a long sleep. It's very possible that it could be another dream of Sora's, just like at the beginning of Kingdom Hearts. Remember when he was on the beach? The opening (first couple of scenes) was very similar to this, so maybe he's just having another one of those illusions.

And to quote Sora... "I've been having...these weird thoughts lately. Like...is any of this...for real?" A thing that closely resembles what many ask after a dream or thoughts that seem surreal.

I FIGURED OUT WHAT SORA'S DOING IN THIS PICTURE!!!! He's floating on top of some water (I'm guessing the ocean since in ASAS it shows him flying across the ocean.) and since it's blue around him it's obvious it's water.

Gah...It's NOT the beginning movie of KH!

For one thing, when Sora woke up, he was on SHORE! Not teh ocean, he would've drowned if he was asleep on the ocean..Sora's probably having a flashback of what happend AFTER he sealed KH, cuz if you noticed, Sora's hair isn't the darker brown it use to be like in the first game, it's the blondish highlighted color like in the second game...O___o; Why can't people get that...? And THANK YOU DARK OBLIVION! Finnaly some one agrees with me!

I don't think that's sadness, I think he's passed out, or sleeping, etc. I mean, anyone who's played KH knows what he looks like when he's sad. He does this little pouty thing with his lower lip, then looks determined, then yells how he's going to do something. I really don't think Sora's a sad person. Just...determined.

Sora is sleeping, regaining his lost memories of his friends. He chose to be the old Sora, where he has Kairi, Riku, and his other friends in Traverse town. Namine (which you all probably don't know yet) was the one who led Sora here. He's sleeping in one of those digital egg things which reconstructs his memories..

If you havn't finished CoM yet, pple, hurry up and do it so that I can stop feeling bad about giving away all these spoilers in my posts!

Anyway, this looks exactly like the ending of CoM when Sora is getting his memories fixed, but isn't KH2 suposed to start about 1 year after KH? I know Namine said it would take some time, but sheeeesh! What is she doing all that time, staring at how pretty he is?! Stop procrastinating, Namine, and put our hero back the way you found him!

i know what happend he is sleeping in this flower like thing and to prove i've beaten COM.At the end of Reverse/Rebirth Riku was in an unknown suit with mickey and diz was talking to them and he said(witch path will you choose the road to light or the road to darkness) mickey-(neither) Riku-(we will take the middle road) Diz-(you mean the twillight road to night fall) Riku-(no the road to dawn)

But, since you mentioned it, I would just like to add that the end of Reverse/Rebirth mode has to be one of the most inspirational videogame ending I have ever seen in my entire life. This is in the end of COM after the credits when you beat Sora's side of the game. He is NOT sad he is SLEEPING!!!! Cause he has to regain his memories from Namine f***ing his memories up throughout the game!!! So since Sora kicked most of the Organization's asses, Namine is now free from following their orders and decides to help Sora regain his memories by making him, Donald and Goofy sleep in crystals. Beat COM people It's at the end after the credits!
