As far as I know, Cloud isn't a real playable character, it is someone you can, well, kind of "Summon" i guess, using cards.

Awesome! I never expected Cloud to be a playable character, but then again it could be a cut-scene. Where is Sora? Did Cloud lose his memories too?

My guess

By the screen shots I'm would have to say cloud is definately not a summon but someone who assists you in the game. As you can see he appears to have cards of his own. Either wya D0000000000DS ISH LIEK CLOUD DISH ISH SHO F****** AWSHOMENESS ISH ZE ROXORS!!!!

The move is Omni-Slash

In case you ppl didn't know that. And summoning Cloud isn't as good as he could have been. You can't control him so his attacks tend to miss. But if they hit, they cause a lot of damage. YOu can unleash Cloud's Omni-Slash when you combine three Cloud Cards. Cloud IS a summon.
