Interesting
If you notice, the command menu has kind of a thorned rose theme. If you look at the entire screen you can see that it takes place in the possible Beauty and the Beast world. Anyone who has seen Beauty and the Beast knows the importance of the rose to the story. This is just speculation, but I wonder if the menu changes with each world or maybe with different keyblades. It's probably just wishful thinking though.

I think when it turns green it means he's in battle
Cause if you look at the other pictures for kingdom hearts2 in gameplay soras command list is green like when he is going against that white thing(it looks like a NEO heartless wheb the blonde hair kid is running after it in the tokyo game show trailer)

update...
unless you havnt heard...it DOES change depending on the current location. That has been confirmed...i just dont kn ow if it changes colors depending on battle/non-battle status like it did in the first game. My thoughts are no because of the detail in it and i dont think they would either change the theme of your menu or discolor it just as a notice that your in battle. I say they have some new way of letting you know there is still enemies around...

very well done,
this new one has much more detail, its good to see that they are taking their time to do the smallest things, the first on was much too plain. and i think that the new command menu changes for each world
