An energetic youth living on the Destiny Islands. Tidus can often be found hanging around with his friends on the small playground-like island not too far from the mainland.

Tidus's expertise is in coming up with odd new games with his best friend Wakka, and wielding a long stick as a weapon. He respects Riku above all others, and is never afraid to try and prove his strength either to his idol or to that idol's best friend, Sora.

When the Islands disappeared into the Darkness, Tidus vanished along with them. Thanks to Sora and Riku's efforts, however, he managed to return back home safely.

One of Sora's childhood friends from his home world of Destiny Islands, Tidus is mainly seen hanging around Selphie and Wakka, oftentimes challenging either Sora or Riku to a friendly spar. These days however, he and Wakka are too occupied with their ball game to spend time with Selphie.
